TTK has been working together with the districts of Cloppenburg (CLP) and Vechta (VEC) in Germany on the development of an e-bus concept since the beginning of 2025. The aim of the project is to strategically prepare the switch to emission-free drives in local public transport and to develop cost-effective solutions.
The focus is not only on the technical feasibility, but also on the economic viability of the transformation. At the same time, synergies between the two districts are to be identified and utilised - for example in infrastructure planning, vehicle procurement or the operating concept.
The project is due to be finalised in the course of this year. It will create an important basis for planning future investments in a targeted manner and making optimum use of funding opportunities!
